Homemade doggy cake is low in fat and very easy to make, it is a great training treat that is palatable and easy to digest. If you make too much you can freeze it. This is a very simple recipe that you can adapt to make your own with all the ingredients your dog loves.
- 3 eggs
- Plain flour or oats, if a gluten free diet use rice flour or a gluten free plain flour
- Liver (chicken or lamb)
If the thought of using liver does not appeal to you, then try using tinned tuna or salmon.
Pre heat the oven to 160 - 180c. Mix all ingredients together in a blender or if using tuna you can mix together in a bowl with a spoon, place a thin layer on a baking tray prepared with tin foil or grease proof paper and bake for approximately 25 – 30 minute.
